There were no casualties or deaths within the main unit which I felt detracted from the realism of it. I only saw two black dudes in the whole series who were relegated to side characters which I was somewhat disappointed in. It got a little bit confusing here and there as far as what their objectives were, who was doing what and why, which person I'm looking at onscreen at any given time (too many white, chiseled jaw lines at once can be confusing). A blowjob is only really worth it for that buildup and release, not so much just the build up. I understand this is what real wars feel like and that it seems this is one of the messages they were trying to send in that troops are constantly wishing for action that they may or may not receive, but when I'm watching a show for, let's face it, entertainment value rather than information gathering I need that "umph" at the end to give me a reason to watch it again. The tension was there and was built up masterfully, but I was let down by how it tapered off at the end. It felt like a lot of build up to a great firefight, and by the end I felt like I was given one of the best blowjobs in the world with no release at the end. I was a little let down when it had ended, as I was hoping for them to actually have a decent mission and see some action. I really wanted the story between Captain America and his squad to be expanded on, because I think IRL situations like that have a tendency to escalate quickly. I think sometimes the show fell in love more with the banter between the soldiers rather than expanding on certain character arcs and the continuing issues between them. The writing is almost on par with BoB, but falls flat in some areas discussed below. Really solid characters and performances all around, really liked the translator character as well as all of the mains, especially the reporter. What an incredibly astute choice from the makers Almost felt more like a documentary.Ībsolutely no music in the whole show other than the ending. From the dialogue and social situations everything was 100% believable. Most accurate depiction of modern battlefield life I have ever seen, but then again this is coming from an outsider. I really liked the series but I didn't love it like I wished I would. R/television's favorite shows of all time (2022 edition) >!Spoiler!!Television!< becomes Television Links
